SMS Messaging Policy
Toura provides operational SMS notifications to Toura account users (“Users”) who work for our customers (tour/charter operators and their authorized staff). These messages are intended to help Users manage bookings inside the Toura dashboard.
1) Message Types (Operational / Service)
If you opt in, Toura may send SMS messages such as:
- New booking alerts
- Booking reminders (upcoming tours you manage)
- Booking updates (reschedules, changes, cancellations)
Toura does not send promotional or marketing text messages from this program.
2) How Users Opt In (Consent)
Users opt in inside the Toura web application when adding a mobile number during onboarding or in Account Settings. The SMS consent checkbox is not pre-selected and clearly explains:
- The program purpose (operational booking alerts)
- “Message frequency varies”
- “Message & data rates may apply”
- How to opt out and get help

3) Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on booking activity and notification settings. Most Users receive only messages tied to bookings they manage.
4) Opt-Out and Help
- Opt-out: Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
- Help: Reply HELP or contact conner@tourabookings.com.
After opting out, you may no longer receive operational alerts by SMS (you can still receive email notifications if enabled).
5) Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
6) Links
Messages may include links to Toura pages on our domains (e.g., app.usetoura.com) to view booking details. We do not use public link shorteners in this program.
7) Privacy
Toura does not sell personal information. We use phone numbers and message data only to deliver operational notifications and maintain message logs.
